pre-karaoke

i forgot to mention the best part about last night! on our way walking to the karaoke place, some guitar playin street performer literally appears from outta nowhere and starts playing. we looked indifferent to what he was playing and i guess he figured he had to try and figure out what'd catch our attention to be able to entertain us and get some cash. he starts playing something else and i'm like "oh shiiiiit! i know this song...oh man! this is 'wish you were here'...siiiick! he's playing pink floyd!" i was happy. as i chuck two loonies into his sack attached to his guitar i tell him to follow along with us and play the tune. we walk for another minute or so, and he's singing and having good, as was i, and then two girls appear on the sidewalk in front of us (along with a large male companion). The guitar dude, without missing a beat, continues playing while following right behind one of the girls...like there was nooo space between his guitar and the chick's back. hahaha oh man, me and Sadok (Tunisian guy from school) as laughing are asses off at this and Sadok goes over to his sack of money, chucks in two bucks and says "keep doing this". at this point i'm crying laughing...the big dude with the girls didn't look too impressed but he knew his role and shut the fuck up. there's strength in numbers. man, that guitar dude was amazing!
